Hi Pricescopers,

After fiddling around with my camera and Mac laptop (which I am totally unaccustomed to), I was finally able to crop the pictures and upload them after many tries.

My FI proposed late April and I haven''t been forthcoming with the pics until now. We got the diamond appraised and found out this stone was HAND cut in the 1880s and it''s truly an amazing diamond.

The setting was inspired by Neatfreak''s bezel and the lovely Leon prongs.

Don''t know how to upload more than 1 pic at a time so bear with me...

Very pretty ring!!!! Congrats!

Thank you c8amlev!!!!

I couldn''t figure out how to resize them so thanks for doing that for me!!

I wish I knew more about the stone myself - it was purchased from a store in Chinatown, NY on Canal Street because my friend knows the owner and he also made the setting based upon Neatfreaks profile but Leon''s double prongs. The jeweler had it in his collection for a few years and brought it out when he knew we were interested in cushions. We didn''t know much about OMCs until we saw this one and loved the chunky facets.

The culet draws me in but its not too noticeable as in other OMCs.

If you would like the jeweler''s information, let me know and I''ll be happy to forward that to you as I''m so pleased with his craftsmanship and timely delivery, not to mention, having this beauty.

I always told FI that I was fine with a G-I colored diamond but now I''m so amazed at the OMC''s E color. It''s so white!

I do believe, that this is a punishable offence somewhere in the PS rulebook!!!

Whack Whack with a wet noodle!

Your ring is beautiful. I love the simplicity. Classic design. How amazing to find out the history of the stone.
