It’s finally here!!

I just received my engagement ring and eternity band yesterday from WF. They are everything I dreamed of! WF absolutely nailed it.

The craftsmanship is perfection and I couldn’t be happier.

Really glad I went custom and had the rings made together! Was definitely worth the wait.

Here are some photos!

Wow, absolutely beautiful set, they suit your hand perfectly!

omg what a perfect set. Everything about them looks great on your hand, congrats!

It’s perfect!

Fantastic- congratulations!

Your rings looks beautiful! Love your ACA! So by going custom, does that mean that the diamond girdles in the eternity band don’t touch the metal of the ering? And you don’t need a spacer?

One more question - is the eternity band 3mm?

I agree! Your set is pure perfection! I'm impressed that they were able to set the eternity band stones low enough to not touch the prongs of the ering and the ering donut high enough to protect the prongs from the eternity band but still be aesthetically pleasing. That is NOT an easy task! Would you mind sharing details of your eternity band? Congrats!!!

Incredible!!!

what are the details of the diamond?

Gorgeous set!

Stunning and so perfectly in proportion with your finger and each other.

Your set is perfect! The diamond is gorgeous! :kiss2: Congratulations!

Beautiful!

Thank you so much!! :)

The eternity band is 3mm 2ctw
The ACA is 2.738 G VVS2
Ring size 4.75

The eternity band only touches the donut and doesn’t touch the prongs on the engagement ring. So I won’t be using a spacer!

I was extremely particular in the very fine details when designing the CAD drawing for the engagement ring and WF was very patient with me. I am very grateful, I know I am quite picky! There were a lot of edits made till it was just perfect!

I will attach the CAD drawings from the first rendition, to the very last!

One thing to note as well. I went up from a 4.5 to a 4.75 in size with the new setting. I actually found that the 4.75 spins less on my finger and is more comfortable because the band is much thicker and heavier. My previous setting the band was very thin all around, so it was very top heavy, causing my ring to spin all the time even though the size was smaller. The extra weight on the band really stabilizes the head of the ring.

I definitely enjoy the heavier and thicker band! Much more comfortable and feels more substantial. Strangely enough, this setting makes my diamond look bigger than in the previous setting, even though the band is much thicker!

@mtran - Congrats! You have achieved what many others have hoped for - no spacer! You obviously put a lot of time and thought into this and WF worked hard to bring it to life. Win/win situation and it is all gorgeous!

Just to clarify about the shank of the ering - it was made thicker because you wanted it that way rather than a necessity to make the two rings work together?

That is so beautiful! Your ACA looks fabulous in its new home! You did exactly the right thing having your set made just how you wanted! So happy for you!

Your set is so gorgeous. The stone and setting is so special

Oh so very beautiful! Gorgeous diamond that looks beautiful, and huge, on you! The whole set is fabulous!

Your whole set is stunning. Congratulations on ering of your dreams!

Lovely! Congratulations on the ring of your dreams!

Love this, and love how happy you are with the new set!

The whole set looks amazing on you, and I love the new basket and band size. How long did the process take?

I found the same experience with my engagement ring reset being only .3-.4mm thicker than before - no more spinning!

Beautiful set!

Gorgeous! Truly stunning! A classic, lovely set!

Lovely!!!

Thank you!

I made the shank thicker and taller mostly because I wanted it to look balanced with the eternity band.

I also wanted to make it a bit more stable on my finger as well. After wearing my previous setting for awhile, it really wasn’t working out for me. I have such large knuckles that I have to size up in order for it to fit. But once it was on, it was way too loose! The diamond never stayed up and was quite uncomfortable.

To create the CAD drawings I believe took 3-4 weeks. But that was because I kept making tweaks and also because of COVID.

It took 4 weeks to make both rings after the CAD drawings were complete!

 Congratulations. This looks so beautiful.

@mtran89 what are the stats on your eternity band? It's a perfect size that highlights and doesn't overpower the diamond.
