I have a ring that I inherited and I have no clue on specs. I am going to have it appraised, but I am guessing that it''s an OEC, possibly transitional brilliant- around a carat I am guessing, but it''s tough to tell as it''s set inbetween 2 smaller stones in a funky 60''s setting.

My question is, how hard will it be to find a suitable earring match for this stone?

I have a modern RB pendant, my e-ring and would really like earrings to round out my diamond wardrobe, and I would love to be able to put this stone to good use and get bang for my buck in terms of size.

Also I know vintage stones are rarely ideal, but I have a trans. brilliant in my e-ring, so I would work w/ jeweler to do something "slightly" different w/ the earrings- maybe not out and out studs, but a simple vintage-y lever back or something- who knows- but I am just wondering if it''s going to be impossible for me to find a brother for this.

in the pic below the ring on the left is my e-ring 2.07 transitional brilliant, the ring on the right is the one I am looking to recycling- so anyone could guess the stone size...

Thanks!
