You look absolutely beautiful! Your hair half up half down will be perfect. I don''t think your dress is pinned too short. It has to be a bit above the ground so you don''t trip and don''t have to be super conscious when walking. You''ll have plenty of other things to be thinking about on the big day. Best wishes on your wedding day and future together!

Gorgeous dress! I agree with having your hair half up and half down, and it doesn''t look too short to me. As far as something in your hair, you''re right, simpler would be better. I don''t see something super blingy with that dress. It''s so soft and romantic.

Gosh, you look beautiful!

you look amazing! good choice with the hair down, it is very soft and romantic and goes well with that stunning dress!

Love it!!!!! You and your dress are GORGEOUS!!!!

Aw thanks for all the compliments guys - I''m blushing over here!

V glad that people like it - I didn''t think I would go for a ballgown-style dress at all, I thought it would be more a fitted, all-lace, Monique Lhuillier-kinda thing. But, as soon as I put this one on, it just felt right. I think it was the simplicity - and the pockets!!! I love dresses with pockets! Now I just have to think of what to put in there - gotta make use of them! I''m thinking a few tissues... and maybe something sentimental. Any ideas??

Oh, and to PilsnPinkysMom - right now I''m thinking I will get a LIGHT tan for the day. Just warm up my skin a tad. I have now, at 28, learnt to "embrace the pale!", but I do look better with a couple of shades darker... think golden blush, rather than all-out TAN! But maybe at the next fitting I''ll get better pics taken (ie. with a CAMERA!), and post them and see if people think a light tan would work.

Thank you all for your lovely words!

:) CK

Hey Dani!

Yep, Kleinfeld have been great so far - but I must say, it freaks me out a bit to go in there because there are just so many GIRLS around - other brides, their friends/mums etc, the SAs etc - and everyone is SO fixated on wedding stuff (eh, obviously!) that it gets a bit "OMG! OMG! OMG!" for me. But (most of) the staff have been lovely, and my seamstress couldn''t have been nicer. Plus she has worked there happily for 17 years, so that says something, both in terms of the kind of place it is, and also of their expertise.

I haven''t posted in BWW in a while, but just had to pop in and say that you look absolutely gorgeous in that gown. As someone who is barely 5'' tall, what I wouldn''t give to be taller! You are going to be one stunning bride. Can''t wait to see pictures!

BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

Oh, that gown was made for you!!!!!

I also don''t think it''s pinned too short. I think that perfecting the bodice will reveal the true line of the gown, and You look incredibly, incredibly gorgeous! WHAT A BEAUTIFUL BRIDE you''ll be!!!!!!

Wow, it''s GORGEOUS! I absolutely love Amsale dresses (I''ve got one myself!

) and yours is just stunning on you. You are going to be one beautiful bride!

As far as the length goes, I think it looks perfect...but I am no bridal expert so take that with a grain of salt! I also really like your hair half up and half down, but I think it would be pretty all the way up, too.
