Now that my workload has slowed down I wanna play!
1. He went to my rival high school with a friend that i''ve known since first grade. So i''d heard about him in passing but had never met him.
2. I met him at a party that the same friend and I threw two summers ago... and I hated him. lol. He had just gotten off work and was really stressed and not sociable at all. I found out later that he was really shy and had just been kicked to the curb by a girl who had totally played him while her bf was away. poor baby, but that all changed the next time I saw him, he flipped over the chair he was sitting in, and he looked so much like an upside down turtle! It''s been great ever since!

I was just starting my new job and got invited to a cookout/volleyball tournament held by one of my co-workers. I brought my (now ex) boyfriend with me. I didn''t know hardly anyone except the host but there was this one guy who had the same last name as one of my friends from high school so I approached him. Turns out she was his first cousin, we went to neighboring high schools, know some of the same people, and we blah blah blah-ed and laughed for quite some time. My (ex) boyfriend came up to be introduced and His wife was giving me the death stare from across the volleyball pit.
Fast forward three years and I''m sitting in my boss'' office with him and he makes some comment about how young I am. I said geesh I can''t be but five years younger than you. We figure out it''s 6 years and 19 days. Get to talking more about well do you know so and so? Fast forward a month and both happen to be at the local watering hole (which neither of us ever do) and I find out he''s been divorced for months and he finds out my ex and I have been split for months. He calls that Sunday afternoon.
It''s hard to remember a first impression because he was married. I thought he was funny and too old for me even if he wasn''t married. Never would have thought we''d be so good for each other. We''re like a pot and a lid with the exact same dented spots that close to make the perfect seal.
