Hey all,
Some of you may remember my trials and tribulations looking for a stone at B&M stores... I did end up buying a nice sapphire at the store, but as we worked on the setting I kept waffling, so I decided to make one last search. I found a stone with a vendor listed in the CS vendors thread that I'm interested in purchasing. What's the word with online purchases these days? I've never bought more than books on Amazon, and they never seem to charge tax (at least not in my state). Is it the same situation with other online retailers?
Is buying stones online from a PS vendor the same as it is on Amazon (for that matter, Amazon actually sells stones now too)-- that is, are tax etc included in the quoted price if applicable at all, or would that be added on top of the price I see? The reason I ask is that this stone, if purchased, would put me a little above my budget as is. If I can expect to be hit with some heretofore unmentioned fee, that would be cause to reconsider and just go with the stone I've already got.
If I get the stone, will probably do another show and tell thread seeking opinions.
