Five-stone jewelry ideas?

Here is a picture I downloaded from my original thread about my five stone ring. It is 2 ctw, .40 each, F color, VS stones. It was as I said made by Memoire. Hopefully it gives you some size reference.

Hey Blue, thanks! :) I got the first set of CAD's today so it's definitely in-process! :)) I can't wait!

Yay! I know you'll love this ring. I seriously considered doing a five-stone band instead of a new e-ring, but in the end decided not to. I still wonder if that would have been the better decision as then I would have both an e-ring and a five-stone ring for my children, in one ring. But my husband also really wanted me to have a true engagement ring (since we've been married so long and I've always had one), so that factored into it.

I can't wait to see your ring!

I just read another thread about a five-stone ring and saw your photos. Yesterday I found your original thread with the 1.50 ctw ring, and it's gorgeous, too. I like the Memoire style because it's set lower, and it looks like your ring wraps around your finger really well. Ah ... decisions, decisions! If it weren't for worrying about "overblinging" myself, I would definitely get a five-stone ring.

My latest endeavor: I'm going to try 5 Bev K narrow bands to see if I like that look and feel. I like the idea that each band would be different (as are my 5 children) but I'm not sure I will like having that many rings on, though they are quite narrow. I tend to prefer less on my finger. Then after that, I may try a DBTY bracelet to see what I think.

I've already tried a 5-stone ring with .34 stones and am attaching a photo below (it's on my left hand because I can't take a photo with my left - and it's not in the style I would want), along with one of my e-ring (with the former diamond) and wedding band.

I want to try as much as I can before making this decision, because I know it will be a jewelry item I will not want to change. I wear the same pieces of jewelry day in, day out and when I add something to the mix, it needs to work for every day and all occasions.

I think the five stone ring looks lovely on you and certainly not too much with your ering - even though I know your current one is a bit less in size. However, you've got to find the thing that makes you happy and hopefully with enough poking around, you'll find that one piece of jewelry that represents your children to you. I too don't buy jewelry unless I plan to wear it everyday. I don't have stuff stuck in boxes and closets that I don't wear or keep things for dress up - I want to enjoy what I have!

Best of luck to you and keep us posted - I'm still waiting for those pics of your new ering!

here's my wife's 1.27 ctw 5 stone on her 4.75 size finger.

Lovemybling- I am coming back to Mark again and again. Would you mind sharing whether his price is reasonable for a custom? I am hoping to do a twisted band in white and pink diamond. Did you contact him directly or did you go through a retailer?

Thanks!

HEY... I have FIVE kids too. This is the ring hubby and I had desiged by Mark Silverstein. It has pink diamond and rose gold bands for my daughters and white diamond and white gold bands for my boys. I wear this as an alternate to my wedding ring. when I want a lower profile band ring.

Please excuse swollen fingers.

Hi blueiris! I have a 5 diamond scatter band that I wear as a wedding ring to work (I'm a nurse and can't wear my bling :((). The diamonds are only 2pts a piece, but here it is just to give you an idea of how it looks with all the diamonds scattered only across the top of the ring.
