Absolutely fantastic choice!! I have a 1ct E but would love to move to the 1.25 7mm range and more eye clean would be great (my diamond is "technically" eye-clean, but I can see the inclusion). Someday. I have a visible inclusion in my diamond (only seen by my eyes, can''t tell from 2 feet away, you gotta be right there SI2), but even though my diamond is always dirty it''s still WHITE WHITE and of course ideal cut. It really does make a difference. I gotta get an ultrasonic cleaner but since I have the baby and it''s summer on the lake, lotion and sunscreen and baths prevent my diamond from being clean every day. I''m swelled and can''t get if off my hand either. That would be a GREAT present for her next bday, holiday etc. There are some really great cleaners out there, I''m still awaitng my dh to get the message.

I will never go below a G for my engagement ring if I trade up.

I got the engagement ring from Mark Turnowski at EngagementRingsDirect.com. The diamond came from a cutter in the diamond district. Mark is right across the street from him.

My band came from e-weddingbands.com. They gave me a really good deal on the men''s band, so if anyone is looking for a men''s band at a good price, you might try e-weddingbands.

In answer to someone else''s question, yes, both rings are 95% platinum.
