It's not a bad thing! I'm the only "creative" one in a family full of scientists (mostly genetics and biology, but my sister is a computer scientist who doesn't even have her ears pierced). It does definitely make my love of sparklies a bit suspect though, haha.

It’s soft like amber, with a hardness of 2-3. Gary suggested a pendant and to make sure the jeweler has experience with setting soft stones such a sphene or Amber.

Cool. I gave my doctor friend a pair of Ebola virus earrings during the time a few Americans had Ebola. She was scared to death about it. Lol. She thought they were funny and she wore them.
