Such a lovely gesture @mrs-b, and well deserved accolades @Texas Leaguer. I've only purchased from WF twice before - I was a bit anxious initially having diamonds shipped to Australia, and my purchases were by no means huge...but I was treated like royalty, and the entire process was smooth and effortless. I've earmarked my 40th birthday gift from WF early next year, and can't wait to buy through them again!
In that other thread (now closed) @Texas Leaguer said: "You may notice in the details section below the listing that we do not normally sell this ring as a 'setting only" - that is, for a customer's own diamond. An exception had been made in this case."
So unfortunately, once again, it seems that no good deed goes unpunished.
And also once again, I'm amazed at the great level of customer service shown by Whiteflash. I've never been a customer, but certainly won't hesitate if the opportunity ever comes up.
@MissGotRocks@LLJsmom@diamondseeker2006 - you all know my story with my stone and setting upgrade with a nick on the setting. My SA Brittany was very supportive (love her and have been working with her for quite some time now since Celina left) but the first email I got from another staff was a little dismissive. I shared that email here as I was a little upset. In the end, they made everything right and the turnaround time to get the ring fixed and returned to me was amazing. I’ve been a long time WF customer too and that was the first time I had any issue. Not surprisingly, it was resolved quickly and quite smoothly. I love WF and will remain loyal- @Texas Leaguer.
