I love that coat. But at 50 yrs. old, it would look totally stupid on me. But how I wish I could pull it off. I am a young 50 though!

love this thread!!! i am a complete coat freak who unfortunately lives in the warm humid south

. we get only a few months where you don''t look ridiculous wearing a coat. however that hasn''t totally stopped me from slowly building my collection!! my FI hates it and rolls his eyes each time i try to justify buying yet another one! looooove coat accesories too!! scarves, gloves, muffs.... can never have enough!

What state do you live in? I live in NC but it can get pretty cold here.

I absolutely have a coat addiction and I live in the middle of the desert. I can''t help it. I have more coats than anyone I know. I want that velvet NN calvary coat

and frilly shirt more than anything but have been spending it all on other people for XMAS. Someone buy me that coat before it all goes out of stock! *wahh poor me*

OMG, I have indeed found kindred spirits. I have two closets for just my coats, and I am shopping for something else.

My husband is going to kill me. I told him to come here earlier as I was on the computer scoping out my Christmas present. I said if they can''t size it, I can''t get it. He says, Oh, Lord, it''s jewelry. Well, does a watch count as jewelry? He took one look at it and the price and said I could have it. Yay!!! Off to the NN website.

I know exactly what you mean, I have a walk in closet and one large section -- okay, one and a half -- is just for coats and jackets. Four are fur, the rest are leather, synthetics, cloth, etc. I need help me thinks. On second thought, I don''t need help, I need that NN coat more.

My fiance says no more, period. I told him he had better watch out or I will commandeer the other walk-in!

BTW It is 48 F tonight and windy! I think it is time to break out the furries!! I love winter because that is when I can cover up my pasty body, wear boots, and eat soup!

Here is the photo of that calvary jacket and blouse on the model. It rocks. I have both! I might even wear it over my wedding dress at my December outdoor wedding (in AZ where it feels like Spring in Decemeber).

Glad to finally find out I'm not alone with a coat obsession! My best friend calls me the Imelda Marcos of coats--two closets full and more cramme elsewhere. Fortunately it's cold enough in Chicago that I get plenty of use out of them!

The discussion of that coat was back in February, so I''m not sure you''re going to get a direct answer, but now that this thread has been bumped maybe someone else will chime in.

okay I just bought this coat cause it was $99? or something and then they offered it for $49 - it just arrived today

it's bold, not very practical, definitely for fall not winter, I'm thinking I'll keep it but it sort of gaps where the toggles loop
