@Ella there seems to be an issue with how quoting / replying works now after the update (I tested this both on mobile and laptop):

Earlier, when you hit reply under a person’s message; their text would appear in the box below (in the main page thread). Now it takes you to another page where the only thing visible is the box. You also now can’t add multiple replies to quote // multi-quote as it takes you to that same page (I attached a screenshot to show what I mean). Not sure if this is a design choice or a glitch.

Also, now when you hit post, a pop up appears of your entire post and you have to refresh the page to see your reply at the bottom, because even if you x-out of the pop up it doesn’t show your comment, and the text remains in the box as editable. I actually double posted earlier accidentally because of it. It’s a bit disconcerting.

Hmmm, twice now when I tried to post a reply to a thread, my reply opened in a preview pane of some sort.

1. I don't know if it's a bug but the number of the selected page is red now.



2. When uploading an image from mobile, it used to automatically add the image to the text. Now you have to do that manually. Don't know if it's a bug or intended, but it's definitely less convenient.

3. The reaction icon isn't level with the usernames.

Another bug - viewing a notification doesn't remove the marker, the page needs to be refreshed.

The ability to view the threads a member has started, versus their replies to other threads, seems to have disappeared. Now everything is just lumped together under Messages.

apparently nothing works for me. I can't get anything unless I hit "Reply" so I don't get a typing spot, no ribbon for fonts or smilies, etc.

Question to @Ella I use mozilla firefox. Do you know if they're doing the testing with this browser or is it all being done on Chromium based ones?

I'm typing this from Google Chrome and have the same issue. Guess I'll also check Edge too.

This issue just popped up for me right now as well. I’m using safari on my phone.

They're working on things, try logging out and back in to see if any of your glitches are fixed by that. I do not unfortunately have further information.

If you can be more specific with screenshots of what you see that doesn't look right that is very helpful. If an issue has already been reported upthread, it will be fixed and there is no need to report it again.

Here’s a screenshot of the glitch I think the other two users are describing (I can’t check who as clicking reply takes me to another page again - this issue seems to come and go)

Under your comment there should be the text box, but it is missing and you can’t comment unless you hit reply on any user’s comment.

Developers, I've just found another one where it is taking you to a second page and asking you to confirm "liking" a post. That's unnecessary. Will get a screenshot if that is helpful, but this one seemed pretty clear cut.

@Ella I can’t comment on a thread without specifically replying to another poster on the thread. The box will not let me insert a cursor and type.

Also getting the confirm like thing on a separate screen.

Here's my attachment from Microsoft Edge (sorry, dog started being absolutely bonkers earlier) How this looks is the same for all the browsers on this machine. I log in from Mozilla firefox mostly. Browsers and machines are up to date. I can of course log out and log back in to try it and see if it fixes.

I have a temporary easy fix for that.

Click on the smilies button. Click on a random smiley. The text field appears immediately and you can type in.

In order to see the options, I had to click the Smiles button (not tried the other 2 buttons), tried to insert an emoticon, and the options would appear without the emoticon.

I was and am using Chrome as my default browswer.

I can't post a reply either. The only way I can reply is to use this quote option. Also the only feature I see is the 'like/thumbs up", no more happy, sad, angry face.

Yes, and also, there is no longer an option for the laughing face or the heart face. You only can like and then it asked you to confirm the like.

When trying to react to a post, a separate window opens to ask if I really mean it, which I find a tad annoying.
