Ok, well, maybe I am just anxious, but I got really worried today. Art of Platinum is making a halo micropave ring with a 1.6 carat old mine cut in it for my boyfriend. It should be ready soon, so I think it may be too late to contact them and confirm.
When we were there talking to Leon, I initially told him that I wanted to wear a wedding ring with the ring, but then he explained that it would damage the melee, etc. Anyway, we easily accepted that and moved onto other discussions. I remember telling him that we do want diamonds on those wires.
But then I noticed the profile of Allycat''s ring (https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/leon-mege-and-wf-ring.33483/page-4) and I noticed that there are no wires holding up the halo?!?!? I am confused. I don''t think that I want that look for our ring (not because I don''t like your ring, Ally, but because I think the Old Mine Cut in profile looks lke a less than perfect color and besides, I love the side detailing).
Anyway, I noticed on the purchase receipt for the ring today that it says "No Gallery so the wedding ring can sit close, not necessarily flush."
I''m freaking out because I want the wires holding up the halo, but to me, when I hear "no Gallery" I think of something more like Ally''s ring (again, not a bad thing, just not what I want for the OMC).
