Freke has a lot of unposted jewels

You've posted so many that I just don't have the time to comment on each item individually. You have some very interesting items and also some very pretty settings. What stone is in the MWM setting? Did the stone come with it or you put one of yours in? I am very drawn to your lavender/periwinkle spinels; there's just something about them that looks very soothing and sweet.

Beautiful stones! And also -- awesome settings! I love your style.

Just as I thought Liz, your "playground" is huge, colorful and gorgeous!! I love every single one of them!

Awesome rings Freke! You have quite the variety, my favorites are your green stones, especially the merelani.

I've seen those blaze-cuts in person at my local jeweler, and I agree, they are stunning!

What a feast for the eyes!!  I don't know how you choose what to wear each day Freke, they're all so lovely!!! Of course, I have a soft spot for your purple spinels and the violet ring, but everything is just beautiful. :appl:

Lot's of wonderful beauties Freke. You have been a very busy lady  Love them all!

And which is your favorite? I'm loving the green one in the first photo.

agree with Kitten once again!

GEM ****. God it's like crack. I need MORE!

Verrrrryyyyyyy pretty collection  esp. the Patrick Irla ring. So modern & chic. Love it ;))

Wow! The push present and the Namibian tourmaline are especially stunning!

Gorgeous! You have really been holding out on us, Freke. That is not nice

Freke, I'm glad you posted this one because I've been wanting to tell you how much I love the design of it. I visit it in danielm's sold section sometimes :naughty: This photo doesn't do it justice since you can't see the full design. I considered a modified version for my opal but in the end decided to send it on a perilous journey to Thailand instead. :errrr:

Just beautiful Freke - really, a gorgeous collection and considering what you divested yourself of about 6 months ago, it's truly impressive that you have such a lovely lot left. I also love the fact that you've set so many. Another vote for the Patrick Irla ring and the gorgeous lavender spinel in the bezel diamond band - soooo pretty. Thank you for sharing.

Great collection Freke! Thanks so much for sharing!

freke,

what a perfect example of "buy what you love, if you know what you're buying." since the blue topaz was from BB, i am assuming he was totally upfront w the treatment and as such, you paid for it accordingly (incl the fine cutting).

i still can't get over that bright blue color -- love it!
Oh yes. He knows that I know my stuff though, as Barry and I have been emailing for a long time (3 years?). Plus, I originally wanted my ering to be an electric blue topaz, so I know allllllll about irradiation.

It's his favorite color too!

Well Freke, as I scrolled down, each stone I said, "THAT'S my fave!" until the next one appeared. All I can say is GASP!

Listen, if you want to adopt me, I promise I'll be very very good & never cause you any trouble! :saint:

Hahahaha!!!!!! Thank you Laurie!!!

Wanna timeshare? We can trade something of mine for that blue spinel in your avatar, and then trade back in 6 months!!

marcy - thank you!!!!!!

Tanzigrrl - I'm particularly drawn to it's perfect windmills! People do NOT believe me when I say it's a garnet, you have no idea how many "But aren't garnets all red?" comments I get!

Enerchi - Oh I have more! Sad but true. I have also amassed a small but decent diamond collection. I should probably list out everything I have one day, just so I can keep track!

Part Gypsy - I have a huge soft spot for that Patrick Irla ring, as my dad bought it as a "class ring" when I graduated college. I don't wear it often, as the table is faceted like a rose cut, and even though it's very sturdy, I'm terrified that the hydrangeas will snap off! I need to get more colors for necklaces, but that's a long drawn out process! Next I'm working on some ovals...

Diamondseeker2006 - Lol! Thats kind of scary! I swear I don't have that many gems!

chrono - the MWM has my colorless spinel. The original owner posted it to the Preloved forum and it was perfect because I had just been thinking that I would love to set it in a MWM, but I could never afford his new prices, plus he's not terribly fond of setting stones besides sapphires and diamonds I think? I, too, love my lavenders and periwinkles. They are my favorite.

GemFever - thank you! I've really managed to collect a lot over a short period of time. I should have probably saved some of my money and bought some really nice stones instead of so many varied stones, but I love all of them.

Catmom - lol! Our gemmies need to have a GTG. Have you gotten anything new lately?

Stargurl - Thank you! whats funny is that my husband has bought me green garnets for 2 birthdays and one anniversary now. Apparently he likes to buy green garnets? The merelani has been something that's on my "must have" list for a long time, and while it's tiny, I'm absolutely enthralled with it! As for the blaze cuts, wowza. They are just glorious in the sun!

petit-bijou - Thank you! I confess, I pick outfits around my jewelry. Hahahahahaha!!!

bright ice - thank you!

MZ - The Namibian tourm is pretty amazing, Barry said that rough is getting harder and harder to find, so I'm lucky to have grabbed it when I did.

Porridge - when I have time, I'll take some more pics, how about that?

blithesome71 - thank you! I love it too!

Precurious - thank you! They are certainly two of my brighter/more saturated pieces (as well as the big mahenge!)

imasugarjunkie - I do! I don't have a neckshot, but I could probably take one soon, i wore the dark gray spinel with my teal cuprian tourmaline the other day (teal dress and shoes, black jacket) and I think it was pretty striking because of the color contrast.

Lady_Disdain - I know. I'm a jerk. (BTW, fabulous stuff! I love everything on your site and I'm just biding my time until I can snag something from you!)

bluebirrrd - awww!! Thank you! I'll add a side shot! When will you get your opal back?

Starzin - thank you! I have been working at getting rid of stuff that I probably would never wear, and trying to focus more on timeless pieces. Which apparently included a lot of diamonds. I guess in my head, diamonds are for my 30s?

colorluvr - thank you! Glad to share. I've been holding back for far too long!

Deal! I'll even throw in my gorgeous peach/copper neon tourm that I absolutely CANNOT capture in a photo. Its breathtaking self will not come through, ends up looking brownish in pics. I swear, Freke, it could light a dark room. Took it to a custom jeweler to talk about settings & when she put it under her desk in shadow, she gasped. THAT's how much I'm willing to ante up! :lickout:
