Hey there!
New to the board

. A good friend of mine has been ring shopping for his girlfriend and finally made his choice. He asked me if she would be able to wear a wedding band with it. I told him that he did a good job shopping by himself (she only wanted a marquis cut). Anyway, I told him he would have to le her decide. What do you think?

Is that entire thing the ring? Cuz if so, it seems like a wedding band would look weird next to it. However, if only the center part with baguettes in the band is the ring, it would be okay. I would LOVE it if the ring shank was only the tapered baguette part.

Yep, that is the entire ring........

I would DEFINITELY leave it up to her, then. Perhaps an eternity band or something for her other hand...

ditto. it looks pretty substantial on it's own. I'd think adding the width of the wedding band is going to take up a lot of finger real estate which could be too much depending on her finger size.

depending on her ring size, why not a thin band with channel set rounds.....

no wedding ring, that is already commanding some serious finger real estate...i think it can definitely stand on its own!!

It has one of those wrap or ring guard effects to it...it seems to stand on its'' own and not really need more on the same finger, jmho...

Well coming from me "the finger real estate challanged" I would say ... no wedding band, unless worn on a different finger/hand.

I think the ring itself looks nice as is ... adding to it I think would make it be too chunky and smashed together.

But hey, if she''s got those envious

long slender fingers ... a plain thin wedding band might look nice too.

I say start talkin'' with the wife to be, feel her out, do lunch and go window licking, and then get back to him with some good feed back.

Good luck, and again ... welcome to PS!

Have a great weekend!
