Is it just me, or do those estimates, in particular on the ruby and the blue diamond, seem about ten times lower than they should be?

I was thinking the same thing. Those estimates are very low. Perhaps they are just trying to lure more people in with the expectation of bargains. Quite a few things I thought I couldnt even get the stones wholesale for the estimate prices of the whole thing.

Dupuis are infamous for uber low estimates, the realized $ will far exceed these estimates, alas...

Yes and no. I've followed the auctions and have seen some unreal prices (aka low) for diamonds and jewellery pieces. However, the Signed Pieces always go for multiples of what is estimated.

Exactly what I thought when slavering over everything, VL. So many tempting pieces, though, grooaaannn. Wish I were near enough to meander in!
