gem storage

Hi all! Any suggestions for how to store and organize a small collection of CSs? I pretty have one of every size and type of gem jar there is since I just reuse the ones I get from vendors. But somehow I've ended up with more gems than jars. The jars don't all fit in my jewelry box either. I don't feel like I have enough gems to justify buying a whole separate tray to put them in. But on the other hand, it would be nice to be able to see my collection all at once. I also think I need to get some bigger jars anyways to put larger stones in, and so that I can start arranging my gems to get an idea of how I'd like a CS project to look. IDK, is it just time to buy a whole new jewelry box? Any input would be appreciated!

I stick all my vendor jars inside a laptop box, like the original one it's sold in. The depth is perfect and the box is padded.

Do you think the jars would fit say, a 10ct pear amethyst with a fat bottom?

Ooo that would have been a great solution. Unfortunately I haven't bought laptop in like, 7 years. I do have probably close to 20 empty Amazon boxes...maybe I can do something with those lol.
