gemstone on a budget

i was wondering any suggestions for a very cheap pretty gemstone for my growing specimen collection as im only 12 its a tight budget. I already have diamond, emerald, sapphires (except for pink), brown topz, tourmaline, tanzanite, citrine, amythist, smoky quartz. any links gratefully excepted. very cheap if possible.

You have done very well already! Someone else on this forum asked for suggestions for $100 or less. There are some intriguing colored garnets listed for $60 or less on this site, which is very nice to deal with. You might want to email them for more suggestions. These are all well-cut stones that will be an asset to a collection or future jewelry. They also sell mineral specimens.

I'm jealous that you've got such a collection at twelve! I've always thought fire opals were cool, as well as other opals too. And I'm a huge fan of garnets, some of which are crazy expensive, and some of which are affordable but still pretty.

I see some intriguing low-price items in the loose colored stones category on www.loupetroop.com.. For example there is a small pink spinel for $56. You need to create a membership but it is free.
