general idea of LM setting cost?

i am not ready to actually contact him for a quote - but i was trying to get an idea of how much the cathedral style of setting would cost - like r986 - the first ring on the solitarie page - just a classic setting for a stone approx 1.25 in size. single prong...

is it more like 1000K or 1500? or 2000+?

just trying to get an idea as i am trying to put ideas together in my mind...

plan on $1500-2000. several of the PS gals have that setting and it was around $1500. metal prices are changing though so you''d need current pricing from him. But that''s my ballpark guess

I also recall quotes in the $1500-2000 range for solitaire settings, but not recent ones. Remember thinking that was halfway reasonable! (For a custom plat setting of that caliber.)
