Cayssie submitted my diamond to Carlsbad GiA on Tuesday and the results are back already. Hope yours are quick too!

Mine was super fast too, took like 4 days. BUT I suspect jewelers get expedited service bc they use it so much.

I fedexed it to New York, they received it yesterday, thats why i was trying to decide on the engraving quickly!

@Inked I'd love to see the final cert for this!

Does this help??

I ripped it out of the setting 15 minutes after I received it :lol-2: i love the setting, just not with the old mine diamond!

I’m curious how one rips a stone out of a very pronged setting. Are you a jeweler? I’d be terrified to touch anything.

The diamond is gorgeous.

LOL!! I got in my car and drove 15 minutes to the jewelry store in my neighborhood and Carlos was the ACTUAL ripper. I was a ripper observer. And paid for ripping. I organized the ripping. I strategically ensured delivery was when Carols would be there FOR ripping purposes.... So i took ownership.... :lol-2:

Thank you for clarifying, I envisioned pliers and a nail file or something, LOL!

I pulled the diamonds out of my three stone (to use in my five stone) using pliers! It had very very long prongs with gaps between each prong so I was able to grasp the base of the prong without damaging the stones. lol
