For Sale GOG AVC - 1.58ct G I1 in Solitaire Ring

That is beautiful, why is it graded an I1?

There is a clear inclusion in the corner of the diamond. It does not present a stability issue and GOG provided their lifetime guarantee to the diamond.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Beautiful! That is the prettiest I1 ever and love that the inclusion is easily hidden :-) Happy Thanksgiving to you as well!

Bump :)

Joe, If I had this reset in a bezel pendant, would the inclusion show?

Thanks

Hello JoangA,

I highly doubt it would show in a bezel pendent. I cannot see the inclusion set in its current setting. It is 100% eye-clean to me.

You can see from the ASET, the inclusion does not block light return from the diamond.

Here is a magnified image of the diamond.

Any interest in selling just the stone?

Hello Toade,

Welcome to Pricescope.

I am hesitant to sell the stone loose, but would for the right offer.

See my Loupetroop listing for my contact information. Hope to hear from you soon.

Interested PSers, but still available.

Gorgeous AVC in a great size and color.

Your asking price is pretty strong, b/c there was a G SI1 1.52ct AVC. at GOG for 12,500.

Hi DF, thanks for the comment. Your Octavia ring is amazing BTW.

I can't comment on the stone you mentioned, but not all SI1, SI2, and I1 stones are created equal. The 1.58 G I1 AVC stone I have listed has less inclusions than many SI2 and even some SI1 stones I've seen (e.g. no inclusions under the table, no black carbon, etc) and was priced accordingly when I purchased it.

The only comparable stone in GOG inventory at the moment is a 1.71 G VS2 listed at $19,946 bank wire, which is also at a much higher price than my list price.

My listing also includes a beautiful setting. Hope it finds a good home.

Bump =)

Bump, stunning icy white AVC in a great size at a great price.

Valentine's bump! Huge icy AVC fireball :wink2:

This is really lovely. If it were a few thousand closer to my budget I would be inclined to pick it up. Another reason I hesitate is that its unfortunate that GOG will not honor the trade in policy if ownership is transferred.
May I ask why you don't take advantage of GOG's buy back policy?

Hi Jetmal, thanks for the interest. Feel free to contact me directly through my LT listing. I am only interested in a private sale.

The diamond and ring are in excellent condition and there is nothing close to this value on an icy white AVC over 1.5 carats.

Re Jetmail - maybe because the diamond did cost less than 8K when it was new (now it's second hand, so people usually ask at least 15% less),... so 8.000 USD times 0,75 for the GOG buy back policy would be how much? But hey, it's a free world...

Ahhhhh. Thanks Wieke :wall:
