Got my blue and new!

Nothing big whatsoever, but I just wanted to share my excitement at having my first little bit of wedding stuff. My assistant at work had her last day yesterday (

) and we had a big party for her and everything, and she gave me some going-away presents, and one of them was an Edwardian style lace garter!

It's very pretty and soft and has a light blue ribbon around it and a tiny little blue bow (possibly like a lot of garters? dunno much about them) and a small pearl and is just so lovely. And for the wedding day! First thing I have for the day itself!!

I know, this is so not big news, but I don't care! It is starting to feel real! Yay!
