Some girls don''t like to be imitated. But Coco Chanel always said that she didn''t mind being knocked off -- it made her feel relevant!
The palladium is a great suggestion. The metals look beautiful together. It''s hard to find palladium in B&M stores to try -- did you see the palladium first or did you go for it based on what you know?
I didn''t get to try it in the store first so it was kind of risky - but honestly I can''t tell the difference at ALL between my platinum e-ring and my palladium bands. I think it''s less noticeable bcs of all the diamonds. There is hardly any metal showing anyway. I trust that if Ritani is using palladium then they are using the best of the best. I should warn you though my e-ring is thicker (like higher) than my wedding bands. I was expecting them to be the same height but they aren''t and I am still getting used to the look.
what i love about this setting is how the diamond sits closer to the finger, compared to other settings its easier to wear
is [the w-band] flush or the same height, the whole way around, except for where the diamond is, adding a bit more height [only on the e-ring] when you look at the profile, where as the w-band stays the same all the way around? or is the w-band thinner the whole way around?
hmmm, i dont know how to word what im trying to say,
i will say tho... you have GREAT taste!!! i love your rings.all of them.
I get what you are asking. The E-ring is thinner (lower) at the back and gets higher as it gets closer to the diamond. The W-band on the other hand, is low all the way around. That is why the E-ring looks higher from the front view. From the back, they all look perfectly equal in width and height. From the front, the look equal in width but the E-ring starts to go higher as it approaches the diamond. I was just checking out the ritani website though and it appears they have two different style #''s for the wedding band, and the pic looks identical, so I am starting to wonder if there is a height difference between the two.
Check it out:
The one I got: http://www.ritani.com/products/view/926/in_category/18
The other: http://www.ritani.com/products/view/847/in_category/16
I have no clue what the difference is.... I hope I ordered the right ones! Dope!!!! Oh wells, I love them anyway
and while that other ring is very pretty, i like the style of rings you got best, i think they go perfectly. that other one looks too thick, i think.
the rings you got look the same width as the e-ring, yep, i want the wedding band just like you got. GORGEOUS!!
i love how it looks.
