Great advice so far but now I need help narrowing down :)

I took the advice in searching for a ring from my last thread and it's come down to a few rings. I was blown away about how helpful everyone was last time, and I hope I'm not asking for too much help. As I've listed before these are all pre-loved rings and the current owners are able to transfer the warranty (for free cleaning & resizing). I'm aiming at spending between $4,000-$4,500 and I really like the look of halos and double halos.

- 18 karat white gold
- Center stone is 1.02 carat square-radiant cut diamond. This diamond is certified by GIA (documentation provided) to be G in color and SI2 in clarity.
- Surrounding the center diamond and extending half way down the ring's shank are 40 diamonds totaling 0.26 carat total weight. These diamonds are near colorless and are slightly included.
- The setting is a 4 prong micro-pave with a 1.5 mm wide shank. Pol/Sym are both Very Good. From Bachendorfs in Dallas.

The center diamond is a brilliant princess cut diamond weighing .91 carats total weight. The diamond is Rare White, Completely Colorless (F) in color and Slightly Imperfect One (SI1) in clarity. The diamond is Excellent in cut and proportion with Excellent Polish and Excellent Symmetry. The diamond measures 5.28 x 5.07 x 3.74 mm. The diamond is mounted in a custom-designed, hand-made, 14-karat white gold mounting containing fifty-four (54) round brilliant cut accent diamonds weighing 1.09 carats total weight. The diamonds are Rare White, Completely Colorless (F) in color and Slightly Imperfect One (SI1) in clarity. The diamonds are Excellent-Ideal in cut and proportion. The diamonds are shared-prong set and surround the center diamond in a halo and flow down the shank of the ring. The total weight of the diamond engagement ring is 2.00 carats total weight. The engagement ring was designed utilizing Computer Aided Design technology and is a one-of-a-kind.

Guy bought it from Robbin's Brothers and they can transfer the warranty et al. The diamond's grades (AIG certificates) are in the images

4) Ritani Endless Love

Woman has no certificates on the ring but I see Ritani mentioned a lot here. She's asking $4,000

#1 GIA certified is good, but we have zero idea as to the cut quality of that diamond. I'd have to have macro shots of the fact pattern and preferably an ASET image before buying a radiant.

#2 Does not mention a grading lab report, so I wouldn't even consider it. All the nice words in the world mean nothing!

#3 Unacceptable grading certificates. GIA and AGS are the only reliable ones.

#4 Never buy a ring without a reliable lab report. There is no telling what that diamond really is.

#5 That one at least has a GIA report, but the diamond is graded very good. GIA Excellent is a very broad category and we don't even recommend all of those. So very good is not good enough! Also, I would only buy one with diamonds on the shank like this if it is already the right size. Resizing may loosen stones and cause problems.

Sooo, I am going to say that I wouldn't buy any of these. I'd want close-ups of the stones in addition to reliable grading reports from GIA or AGS. You have to be careful with SI2 as well because your standards of eyeclean may not be the standards of the seller.
