Well we all know that unless I win the lottery (and a big one), I will most likely never own a strand of imperial green jadeite beads. So I must settle for these. They do have a decent color, and translucency. They also have a rich texture, some are even quite beautiful. Anyway, here is my necklace. I still have several beads left over to make a single strand.

lovely.....

I live gemstone beads too. Really nice!

First of all, they truly are lovely. I love the outside shots. Your craftsmanship is nice as well; not just a boring single strand, but a bit more sophisticated. Secondly, and I should know by now, Soberguy, are you a guy and are these for you? I'm sorry for the intimate question, its just that it will be a first for me to see a man wearing a necklace like that...

Ooh! I love being able to see through each bead in the outside shot. Nice!

Minous,
I'm very sure Soberguy is a guy but I, too, wonder who's going to be wearing it. :cheeky: I admit to being a busybody.

I'm a guy lol! Not intending to wear it. But hey, maybe I'll give it a shot lol!! Might be a bit king tut'sh!

So nicely done. I love the gold beads in it & how you used the smaller jadeite ones at the edges. It's great!

Soberguy I make my own jewellery (but only use natural gemstones) - can I make a suggestion of something you could wear that would use your leftover gem beads? Why don't you macrame a Shamballa type bracelet for yourself? You could use brown or black cord and simply lock around the Jadeite. It's soooooooo easy to do but would be a good look for a man (not even a glimmer of King Tut)! I can describe how to do it or might be able to find a link somewhere on YouTube.
