I'm a happy bunny!
It's really lovely and just as pictured. It's a pure grey and I can't see any modifiers. There's tons of dispersion (much more than I had anticipated) and I see regular flashes of blue, yellow, orange and curiously red! There is a tiny bit of smokiness/haze to the middle of the diamond but it's more apparent in the up close photos than in real life,.
During daylight it's a real silver colour and darkens somewhat in incandescent lighting - again, another unexpected surprise! The underside of the diamond is wonderful and I have toyed with setting it upside down (like an old fashioned scribbler ring). TL suggested a ring that I could rotate the heart so that I could wear it either way and I'm seriously considering that. I think it may prove to be expensive but it'll be worth it.
It has weak green fluor that despite several attempts I can't photograph accurately and it looks blue
So I'm considering a temporary setting and then when I have longer to think about design, I'll re-set it into a customised piece. The ONLY thing I'm disappointed about is that it's small 5.1 x 5.9 x 4. I know that's not generally considered to be small but it feels small to me so I definitely have to big it up with whatever setting I choose!
Without further ado ............... the photos!
