Guess what this is?

More pictures please? Amber?

Whatever it is, I love it. It has a great ethreal quality to it.

You nailed it, LD.
I never thought for a moment I'd ever buy a piece of amber. It told me to do it. It has no insects, just little discs of various sizes that distort when rotationg the piece. I'd post video if I could. It is NOT for sale.

Pretty, I love green amber!

That is a fascinating piece! I can see why it made you buy it.

A wonderful glowy amber egg. An excellent choice for keeps.

very cool! Looks very liquidy! :appl:

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww I WANT IT!

I can see the attraction. It's incredibly beautiful. If you ever decide to sell it, you know where I am (usually around here somewhere lurking about)!

BTW last year I bought myself and for a friend two pieces of amber (from a specialist company) that had insects in. They're fab and I love looking at the piece I kept.

really beautiful and otherworldly

ooohhhh, so neat! Thanks for sharing pictures of that wonder of nature, a closeup would be appreciated!

Unusual and very pretty!
I was told green Amber wasn't actually green, but just looked green because of the black base it sits on when it's a doublet. (I even got bored and picked the back off of a piece of mine and sure enough it went yellow!) it's interesting to know that green Amber DOES exist, and I love all the discs in it too.
