I''m ENGAGED!!!!!!!!
Yesterday. I was at my fellow colorguard instructor''s house with my best friend and another instructor that came to visit from Missouri. So B was supposed to come over and visit with us and he was running really late. So when he got there he called my cell and told me to come outside because he had something to tell me....I was like, ok, and my best friend was like maybe this is it! I was like whatever. So i went outside and he gave me a single beautiful red rose. I thought that he was just apologizing for us arguing about the ring thing 2 days before...he wasnt. He then hugged me and told me he loved me. I was like i love you too. and then he just kept hugging me and hugging me....and then i could feel him shaking and he told me he loved me and his eyes were getting all teary....hmmm. then i told him that Jamie (the other instructor that came to visit from Missouri) asked me inside when the wedding was and i told her that we werent even engaged yet. and that is when he was like well, why dont you go in and tell her that we are.. and i thought that he was just joking and laughed about it and said whatever. and then he said, MARRY ME. I was completely caught offguard!!!!
and i was all nuh uh like 20 thousand times over and then he said it again. and i said, you dont have a ring though..and he said or do i and pulls out a ring box......and there it was the ring he had seen the day before i told you ladies that i found the one....then he slipped it on my finger!!! Meanwhile he had just told my parents that he was gonna ask me like 15 min. before he asked me!He said that he WAS going to ask at Toldeo, OH on august 4th at the corps show but he said that it was "burning a whole in his pocket''. He picked it up the day before yesterday too.
So everyone that was insde was of course creeping at the window the whole time we were out there and when my fiance (oohhh
) picked me up and spun me around they all came running outside! haha. It just doesnt feel real at all. I am still in a state of shock!
I think partially cuz i thought that he was going to wait and then for once he did what he felt in his heart nomatter the place or what we both looked like and even though it was so random and on the side of a street, that is what made it so perfect!
All i know is that it is bit bigger than a 1/2 carat and white gold solitaire. I love it...just the right size diamond for me!
So i was going to post pics but it isnt loading the import page. Are there any tricks to getting it to work?!?! I want you ladies to see the bling!
