I'm baaack!! The HOF is a stunner

It is totally eyeclean. The plot was a little scary, but I could see only one feather under the loupe and under the microscope just two tiny pinpoints and a tiny crystal near the girdle. Since it passed my eyeball test, I bought it

It's being set, as we speak, and I'll be picking it up later today. I will post pics as soon as I can.

I had to decide if the performance on my finger was more important than something I couldn't see. My finger won

Did you have the WF stone in hand to compare to or did you just see the HOF and fall in love with it? Just curious.

It looks like a nice size for your mounting. The old stone did too but the new one being a bit bigger just pops more. I know you must be relieved to have made a decision - one day decision and had it mounted and you''re on your way. My last trade worked out that way too - went so fast I hardly knew it had happened!

I did not have the WF stone for comparison. I did some mulling and made a decision...and it did go very quickly from there

I had them change the style of the head to a lower more cup-like shape and I much prefer it to the original. I'm trying to get a decent side view, but so far it's not happening. I think it's nerves...or excitement
