NoonersMom will be in Houston on Tuesday (3/1) to visit Whiteflash, so I thought it would be fun for us to meet for dinner/drinks on Tuesday night.

I was thinking that we could meet at Berryhill on Post Oak, since its fairly close to WF and 610.

Apple, Ginger, & HouMed....would love to get together. I am meeting at WF between 5-6pm depending on the drive over from Austin. I don''t know how long the appointment will take. Apple advised that her''s was 3 hours long. Dear lord! I hope it''s not that long otherwise I won''t be able to meet for a drink. I hope to be finished by 7 or 8 depending on my arrival time. Also, Brian already has an appointment scheduled for 4&6pm so Denise is going to try and sneak me in somehow. We''ll see. Since it''s your town, just tell me where to go & I''ll meet you out.

Lovey...we''ll just have to get together next time I visit NYC. Hopefully once we get the stone I will be making a trip there to meet with Leon.

Can you believe I''ve lived in/around Austin for almost 3 years now and I''ve not yet made it over to Houston?! I live right off of 290 and really have no excuse

My WF appointment was 3.5 hours long, I had a 4pm appt and wasn''t out till close to 8pm and was RAVENOUS. Have a hearty lunch!

Brian is very VERY thorough and eager to teach.

I had exams for like, the past 2 weeks, so my internetting is just now getting back to normal. Ginger, we just finished block 4...immunology was NUTS. I have NO clue how i did on that exam. Anyway...

oh and ginger I showed the BF the pic of the ring with the round center and octagon pave halo...he didn''t like it. He has now decided that he doesn''t like pave halo''s at all, but he definitely likes the idea of the modified Ritani I like, so now I just have to decide if I maybe want to get 3-sided pave or stick with 1 (and what that will do to the budget), but I will probably do 2/3 pave instead of a full eternity either way.

Appletini: It WAS fun to openly obsess about rings!!! If you want to talk about gorgeous...can we say classic blonde beauty?! Oh and girls, Appletini has a gorgeous RHR that she''s been holding out on all of us...I say you demand pics!! That''s too bad about our bf and the halos. the octagonal one is to die for! However, that doesn''t rule out RHRs so not all is lost!

As for the pave, I''m getting 3 sided 3/4 eternity with pave on gallery,basket,prongs and I know the price quted was significantly less than the tacori rosebud, so you should definitly not hesitate to at least ask for a quote your absolute dream ring, and then start deducting elements until your budget is met! You never know!

Here is my lagos RHR with blue topaz...this was my college graduation present to myself. At the time that I got it I was still wearing my aggie ring, so one day I wore it to work on my left ring finger and people asked if I was engaged, so I quit wearing my aggie ring, so that I could wear this one. I wear it everyday with my favorite yurman bracelet that also has blue topaz (but I want one with pearls).

As for the Vera Wang rings, I tried them on at Bailey Banks & Biddle. They are gorgeous, but not worth the markup.

Apple & Ginger....I am so sorry I missed both of you Tuesday night. It was extremely frustrating to arrive in Austin at 4:15pm & find out that I wouldn''t be able to visit WF. I guess Brian was stuck in the storm & wasn''t making it back that day. Should consider myself lucky I didn''t get stuck in Detroit during the connecting flight! Next time I am in the area we will have to get together.
