He finally decided what style of ring he liked and we've just placed an order with DanM -
very excited.
He's having it prong set E-W, with millgrain on edges and gallery, 2 engraved and oxidized fleur de lys on each shoulder and wheat engraved on profile.
ETA: I wasn't sure about having the stone prong set as I haven't seen a man's ring like this, but the example ring we found does look substantial enough to be a man's ring and we really wanted to let light in to keep a bit of flash to the stone - so hopefully it will look OK.

P.S. Does anyone know the best way to send insured package from UK to USA? I was going to send International Signed For, but I believe it's a PO Box address so signed for won't be accepted, will it?
