Had any experience with Perfect Circle jewelry insurance?

I just recently had my engagement ring/wedding band appraised for insurance purposes. I had a policy with USAA and decided to move to Perfect Circle being that they specialize in jewelry insurance and because their premiums were slightly lower. Has anyone out there ever had to file a claim with Perfect Circle? If so, what was your experience and your feeling about them overall? I hope that I don't ever have to file a claim. However, if I do, is it better to have a policy with a company that deals only with jewelry as opposed to a company that provides all types of insurance, ie. USAA.

Thanks!

Perfect circle / Jewelers Mutual is a good outfit. Actually, so is USAA although they handle replacements slightly differently than most of their competitors in that they flat out own a jewelry store and replacements are done from there. PC will allow you to choose your own jeweler to do the replacements (with a few limits) and their list of 'approved' jewelers includes nearly everybody in the country. There's also some value in having your jewelry policy disconnected from your homeowners policy.

They are a good company -- I've used them before and would use them again. I'd much prefer a stand-alone policy, as Neil mentioned, instead of a rider on my homeowner's insurance.
