Had my heart broken by a spinel

I had the same thing happen to me. I saw Gene had a lemon quartz with a frosted star design. I had been waiting for something different to pop up somewhere for my first stone purchase. I bought and paid for it and was super excited. So I was crushed to receive a refund shortly after saying it had been sold just moments prior to my paying. I emailed him to ask if he had anymore rough he could cut for me but I never received a response. I know he only lists a few every month so I'm sure he's just crazy busy. I'll just have to be faster in the future!

That spinel is truly beautiful, Xrisus you're so lucky! Congratz!!!

i also bought from gene recently. got super excited and waited and waited and waited. was about to email him that my gem had never arrived in the mail when i went back through my email and found an unopened one saying sorry it had already sold and my money had been refunded. i check and i had lost $50 or $80 though on currency conversion etc fees though so I was a bit annoyed. if its happening all the time then everyones losing money

I liked that lemon quartz too in star design. My computer does not even show "not available sign". Just an empty space. But Gene was nice to answer e-mails. I contacted him several times and he is very prompt in responding back. I wish he will make more of this star cut stones.
