Hair help, please!

Okay, it''s that time again. I''m bored with my hair cut, and it''s way too long. And by way too long, I mean it''s almost at my chin. So I need help finding a haircut. I''m not quite ready to go Mia Farrow/Audrey Hepburn/Natalie Portman short, but I want something short, fun, and funky. Any suggestions? Also, I''m probably going to go blonde, too. It''s the only colour I haven''t tried yet, and I feel adventurous. It''ll be a few weeks before I can afford to do it all, so there''s no rush. But by the end of the month I really want to have short, fun, blonde hair.

Also, any Charlotte dwellers out there, do you have a salon/stylist you could recommend? I''m in South Charlotte, but could be convinced to venture elsewhere for a great cut.
