Are you planning on wearing your veil all night? If so, then any of the options you''ve seen would be lovely.
However, if you''re not, you have to find the right style that will allow for a seamless exit. Otherwise, you can disrupt the foundation of the hair style and it can get messy. Veils usually have combs that need to be based properly, which is the only reason I bring this up.
A compromise, depending on if you''re having your hair done on location, is asking your stylist to stay to remove the veil after the ceremony and touch it up if need be.

Thing2, your dress is one of the prettiest I''ve seen on PS! You look so cute! Alas, I dont have any hairstyle suggestions for you, I haven''t looked into updos since I''m keeping my hair down. BUT, I love the second picture Freke posted. It''s such a timeless graceful knot, I think it would go exceptionally well with your dress!
Most people take the veil off for the reception. I''m definitely taking mine out. Also, I dont think taking out the comb will mess up your hair much. I''ve tried to take off my veil with my hair tied, and it doesn''t mess it up much at all. Have a friend take it out for you carefully.Date: 4/26/2009 10:09:26 PM

Hmmm...I''m not sure if I''ll wear the veil all night. What do people normally do?
And what would you recommend for a hair style that will allow the veil to be removed without messing everything up?
I''m getting my hair done at the salon so I won''t have the stylist with me on site. Thanks for bringing this up-I hadn''t thought about it!
It''s about split 50/50. Some brides actually bustle their veil, and it''s a lovely, dramatic look. I bustled mine, and have no regrets about that at all.Date: 4/26/2009 10:09:26 PM
