Halo around my oval added to setting: Quest preview pics!!

Boo! I could not get the pics any larger or clearer but here are pics that Pete sent me. He was very excited with the result and said it is one of his best work! Halo is with half pointers and oval is 1.23 ct (8.44x5.92mm).

Basically, I asked Pete from Quest Jewelers to add a halo to my existing setting. It was not a peg head setting and I though it couldn't be done. It is not clear in th first 2 photos what the finish is like on the basket/struts, but I have faith that it is well finished

When I finally get my baby back on m finger next week, I will go CRAZY with handshots! ARGH! I wish I had it with me now!!!

Bah!!!!! I was waiting for the rt thread to pop up and I missed this. Oh its so great. And that really does make your stone looks huge huge HUGE.
That's stunning. The bezel still keeps it looking vintage, and the size?! I can't wait to see before and after shots on your hand!!

Very very pretty! I really like it. The update makes thebstone look huge. I really like the setting before too, but the bezel halo makes it really special!!
