Congratualtions on your engagement! Your ring is lovely and I''m glad you had a good experience with Golda. I had looked there right before we got engaged. I was in NYC and took a quick stroll down 47th on a Sat and Golda was one of the few shops open on Sat. They had some lovely ECs at the time and I liked their inventory. Glad your experience with them was good! Say, can you tell us your finger size? Inquiring minds want to know!

Thanks for all the lovely compliments. I have tiny fingers - my ring size is 3 1/2. I was deciding whether I wanted the Harry Winston micropave cushion style. The HW model is gorgeous. I went to the NYC store. The band is very thin and I wanted something more sturdy. I also preferred the setting that was on display at Golda''s. I basically picked out a stone from their inventory and had an exact replica of their stock ring made. Golda''s does have a large and beautiful selection.

Your ring is absolutely gorgeous! Can you tell us the size of the stones in the halo and shank? I''m thinking about changing my setting and putting 1 1/2 pointers around the center stone, but I think yours might be bigger (maybe 2 points?) and I really love it! Are the stones in the shank the same size as the halo? Sorry for so many questions, but your ring is perfect!!!

I''m not sure if the stones on the halo are the same size as the band. Just from the naked eye it looks like it probably is the same size. I checked the appraisal and it says that there are 56 round diamonds with an approximate weight of 1.5 cts. Sorry, I wish I could be more specific. I''m going to stop by Golda''s in January and I''ll be sure to ask (can''t go earlier because I''m living abroad).
