Hi all,
Just as a general idea, how much should a jewellery maker charge for making something? Take for example a small celtic cross (cross with a ring around the part where the cross meets). Only 1 inch in height, made of 18 carat gold, the ring made in platinum. A clasp at the top of the ring made in platinum, and then encrusted with 14 emeralds (approximately 0.07 CT each - totalling 1 CT), and 3 diamonds - two in the clasp - approx 0.1 CT each, and one in the center - approx 0.25CT). Not sure of the clarity, colour or cut of the stones though. What sort of percentage of the total cost would be the ''handcrafting'' part?
Thanks
Shash
