well, my chicago trip was a success on all accounts. I had such a fun time and Wicked was incredible. I also managed to do a lot of shopping and hit just about every chicago jeweler with Dee Jay who is just a doll by the way. I tried on setting after setting, we ended up on jewelers row and the last store we went into had some antique settings on consignment. there was one that just begged me to try it on. I have such a weak spot for antique settings. Anyway, once I did I was gone. it was love at first site. My siter and Dee Jay both agreed it was the setting for me. Unfortuately it included a center stone which I don't need and the guy said they couldn't sell just the setting but he would try and reach the owner and see what they said. Well, good news, the owner agreed to let the setting go and it now belongs to me. I've got to have it sized and my stone set but I'm just thrilled with it.

I LOVED Wicked, saw it three times. I got to see it with Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth who originated the roles on Broadway, and Joel Grey. I loved the story, really showed you not to judge a book by its cover! The music was great and it was just a fun show...
