Hi,

I know it is always nerve wracking trusting a new vendor overseas. I want to share my experience with uni_jade on eBay: the items came astoundingly quickly, well packaged, do not appear to be dyed, and most importantly are the exact items pictured in the auction. Other than that I'm not an expert on jade but I would reccomend them based on my experience. I'm pleased with my new 55mm bangles. I'll add pics when I'm on a proper PC.

Very pretty! I especially like the one with darker/lighter shades of green.

Being in the trade I can not directly comment about a seller on this forum but I live less than an hour from Burma where the Jadeite comes from and I will say, it is common to find untreated Jade. Usually one must select the lesser colors when bargain hunting. The grass green for $50 is too good to be true.
Look for dye in cracks, however that is elementary advise. With high dollar buys use a lab or know your stuff.
I hope that the Burma news today about curfews, fire and killings does not affect the time frame of sanctions being lifted. Actually it is a good chance for the new government to show their qualities. Fingers crossed. Best regards, Lee

Hi Kelpie! :wavey: :wavey: So glad to "see" you here. Please post more often, enjoy your bangles and thanks for the heads up on the vendor. Are you still in Africa?
