I was wondering if anyone has done it and has it been helpful and accurate. I did it and it’s says all ssri won’t work for me but the ones that Should work for me had horrible side effects. I take old school nortriptiline, but it dries me out and I have an autoimmune disorder so it aggravates it but it’s better than all the other antidepressants I tried. Just wanted To know others experiences.

Yes, I had this done for my daughter because we've been through many that didn't work. She is on Vibryd and Latuda now, she is better than what she was.

Yes i did about 4 years ago. It made a world of difference, as what I’ve been prescribed is the first antidepressant in 20 years that doesn’t give me poor side effects. i wish it had been available to test 20 years ago!

Sounds super interesting! Does any regular psychiatrist do this? Or a geneticist?

Ours was done at Psychi office and took about 10 days to get it back

Most psychiatrist offered it in office, genesight and I think genomind is the other. I’m wonder why they findings haven’t helped me. TryIng different meds is so hard on the mind and body. At least for me

Ours was Genesight and the report that comes back is very interesting and tells you what meds should work better for you and which will most likely not work for you.

I had my test done at my regular physician’s office. Results took about a week, if I remember correctly

I did genomind and want to try genesight to compare

I think I got lucky...what worked for my father worked just as well for me.
