also interested in seeing how the work thing goes since we were in the same boat but elected not to share the news {you''d have to know where I work to understand it, seems nuts, IS NUTS, but is for the best}. SO GOOD LUCK with that, I hope it went okay.

The work thing actually went really well...I''ve been meaning to give a full update in another thread. It''s kind of an odd situation though.
On Monday we went in to talk to our boss...my stomach was cramping when we told him we wanted to talk to him, but we knew it had to be done. So we shut the door, and FI started off by saying that he didn''t know what people thought, but that we wanted to tell him that we were engaged. Our boss honestly thought we were coming back there to complain about something, so I think he was actually a bit relieved, because he really hates confrontation. He said "wow, I was right!" (we knew that everyone suspected...). He then joked about which one of us was leaving. So he said not to make an announcement until he checked with corporate about what the policy would be.
Corporate wrote him back and said being engaged wouldn''t be an issue as long as we weren''t in the same department, so we were going to have to do a little office rearranging. He then wrote back and asked what the policy would be once we were married and they said it would be the same...so that was awesome news! However, that was Tuesday morning, and we still hadn''t gotten the green light to make the announcement.

So this morning, we actually got the ok to make the announcement. Though he hasn''t decided how to rearrange in here, it''s not something he has to take care of immediately. So we''re going to do that here in a little while...finally I''ll be able to wear my ring!

Speaking of rings, I have a really old digital camera, but I''ve got a really great film camera. So I''m going to take some pics with it this weekend, and hopefully I''ll be posting some of those on Monday or Tuesday.

Our branch is pretty small...the whole company is 5K+ people, but this branch is about 20 people, so changing "departments" would mean that I move about 5 feet away...hehehe. I''m guessing it will be me...
