Who is still here and checking in?

We have had so many girls leave us over the last couple of weeks I thought it would be nice to do a double check on the LIW who are still here and checking in daily/multiple times a week :)

It feels like this place has gone to sleep in the last week.
 
I'm still here, and I'm still checking this board for updates. :twirl:

My FF and I have not gotten engaged yet. I know that things are super busy for him at work right now though, and I also know that he wants to plan a really special surprise proposal. :)
 
Agreed, it has been very sleepy around here! i check in everyday and not much has been happening at all!
 
I'm still here, still waiting, growing more and more impatient each day. I check in multiple times a day which might become once a day with doctorate school starting tomorrow. But it has been so slow in here lately. I find myself staring at the screen, pressing the refresh button hoping something will happen, but nothing.
 
I'm a newbie, however I have also been checking in regularly. I thought the slow place was perhaps typical of the LIW forum. :snore:

I'm still here and expect to be for a while!
(In terms of topic, I am also female)!
We go on holiday overseas for 3 weeks in October, so what happens then is anyone's guess! :D
 
i'm still here and always hoping for a distraction from midterms!
 
I'm still here!! BF is really going strong with saving for our wedding and a ring. I would love to be engaged by this Christmas, but it may not be until next spring. But, I'm okay with that as we won't be able to have a wedding until 2012 anyways.

I am pretty sure I have found a second job! I just have to fill out a second application and take the drug test and background test...which of course I will pass! :) It's only 10 hours a week, but it would be a tremendous financial help right now.

I have started school and I'm already starting to get busy with school work and field hours. So, I'm still checking in here, just not as often as I was.
 
I'm here checking in multiple times a day, trying to keep myself out of trouble. I hope something happens soon to make this place a bit more lively.
 
LIW #8 here. I still check in everyday. Nothing new on the engagement front though...
 
Still here also; check the LIW forum multiple times a day but never really post much as I have always been more of a lurker. ;)

SO got accepted to grad school in math at the same school I attend so we did not have to move or anything. This means we are especially broke for the next 2.5 years (I am in grad school, too), and maybe more if he continues on from a Master's to a Ph.D. (I will have my Ph.D. by the time he gets his Master's.) So in about 3 years I'll have a job and he'll have a shot at a job, but I had no idea when I joined this forum that our joining-our-lives-together ceremony would be three years away!!! :( Still, I'm really happy for him that he got into the graduate school. For a while he was kind of floundering around and so even though it'll be a while before we are financially comfortable, we are at least on the way there for real now! :-D
 
I'm still here, waiting around. I usually stop by here in the mornings, at work. :wink2: It has been pretty quiet, but we have a long list, so I'm sure there will be some action soon. I tend to lurk over in the colores stones section as well, projects to keep myself busy.

BF and I are going for a week to the Outer Banks, NC in 2 weeks. We'll see what happens, but I am not getting my hopes up at all. We're going with 4 other people, plus he said maybe not till next year! :errrr: He could just be trying to throw me off, but part of me believes him. And we first went to look at rings in March! I am tired of staring at all our friends bling with none of my own.

Things that happen with me aren't big enough to start a topic, but this was kind of exciting. Last night with a a group of friends SO starts talking about the stone that we've gone to see 3 times. I'm pretty sure he hasn't put a deposit on it yet though, but he knows it's a killer deal. He told his friends that he just can't get over how much money diamonds are, the fact that you shell out thousands just for a little stone. Basically his friends told him to stop being such a cheap skate lol, we all know that it's going to happen and that the money is there ... but here I am ... still waiting.
 
super sleepy around here... but I'm super sleepy too. yucky.

I'm still waiting and getting a tiny bit impatient mostly because I'm trying to figure out what the hold up is. Oh well, it'll happen when it happens.

I'm so behind I need to start a thread to congratulate everyone I've missed in the last few weeks : (
 
Still here! Nothing new to report unfortunately. Weren't there a bunch of ladies who thought they would be getting engaged in September?? That should liven things up a bit!!

I was just there last weekend. It's gorgeous right now-- the water is warm, the waves are awesome, and the beach isn't too crowded. Have fun!
 
I'm still here as well but nothing new to report. BF and I have gone to look at rings, but I'm convinced I want him to buy online since the stores around here are not impressive in the least! I'll be here a while, but shouldn't be over a year, hopefully within 6 mo! :)

Good news for me though. BF and I are getting the keys to our apartment Wednesday! I'm hoping that not too long from now there will be a proposal since he said he wanted to wait to get engaged until we live together. Either way, I'm still really excited about this time in my life :bigsmile:
 
I'm here! I usually check in weekly. My boyfriend said a few months ago that the only reason there's not a ring on my finger right now is because he wanted to be sure that his job was secure before proposing. He owns his own company and it's doing well....just moved into new office space over the weekend! So I'm hoping for a proposal by next summer, if not by Christmas. :))
