Beautiful ring, I don't think the sapphire is too small, looks very elegant on you. This can be your one sensible ring.
Hehe we can nickname it The Sensible Snot

Heee! It's 9.5 by 7 with a 2.5 halo. So total of 14.5mm lengthways and 12mm wide. It's not too bad. This is the smallest I will go though I think!
I love all the pics but this one takes the cake - or the bulgogi!
Thank you! I was going to go big zircon with all the bells and whistles but I'm glad I didn't.
This makes for a nice everyday ring as it's much tougher than zircon. I'm also finding that it's a nice complimentary right hand ring to all the bigger rings.
I love zircon and paraiba but…the softness bites me. And I try to be so careful!
Ooh have you damaged one? Please share your story!
I'm very nervous about the two tourmalines and Spess that I own. Especially as they're big with lots of surfaces to knock/scratch.
Omg!!!! And when you looked at it you had no idea??? It didn't look scratched?
I'm officially quaking in my joggers!!!!!
Saw this in the CS Under 2k thread, and thought it is a bit small for you!
However, you did very well in having this stone and ring for under 2k, thanks for sharing!!!

After wearing this ring for a few days I've had a revelation. Heated sapphires are excellent value!
Lil Sis has been whining that my hand me down sapphires to her are too small and she wants a big tanzanite.
I've told her, no tanzanites!!! If she wants a bigger blue just get a 3+ ct heated sapphire and a decent halo. Will probably cost the same as a frufru tanzanite ring and she can bang it around to her hearts content.
