Welcome and I hope you stick around for a while. We really are a friendly bunch although we sometimes get overly passionate about colored gemstones. ;))

Whell, if you say you are passionate about colored gems, tell me your opinion, this ring fits here?

If I'm not mistaken those are white diamonds.
Very pretty, but this forum is "Colored Stones, and is the wrong forum for white diamond pics.
You'd be more likely to get feedback on Pricescope's Show Me the Bling forum.

Pricescope has a few fora for a few purposes.
This one, Colored Stones, are for gems of color including fancy colored diamonds - set or not set into jewelry.
Show Me the Bling is to show whatever you want, but usually white diamonds set into jewelry.
Rocky Talk is for learning about diamonds and how to buy good ones wisely.
Hangout is for general non-gem discussions.

There are other fora, but those are the four with the most traffic I believe.
Here is the complete list: https://www.pricescope.com/forum

Kenny , this time I've got you. :D :D :D , let's wait for Chrono's answer

P.S. Sorry for my mistake above...it's <well> and not ,<whell>

White sapphires?

The stones look white or clear. Are they? I am impressed with your handiwork. The workmanship and quality of your jewellery is amazing.

Well Chrono, think again and then tell me. Is this ring appropriate for ''colored-stones'' forum?

You are correct. The name of this ring is ''surpise''.

What a fun and creative concept for a ring - well done!

And welcome to the forum, btw.! :))

WAY too cool! :appl:

That is cool. :appl:

So does it open and close at will, or can you lock it open or closed?

Woooow  Awesome ring!!!

What a clever ring. very cool design. Hopefully the clasp is stiff enough it stays in position, unless it has a locking mechanism. But great design, very creative!

HI:

:wavey: Welcome!

cheers--Sharon

LOL, it looks like it was giving us a big knowing grin.

You can choose how to wear this ring. Either closed (in order to see only the diamonds) or open (to see both diamonds and sapphire baguettes).

Does it have a locking mechanism so it will not accidentally close or open?

No, the 2 screws you see on the side, are decorative elements, and they play no other role. The mechanism is under the ring.

Could you post a picture of the mechanism?
