Hello, newbie here needing opinion of a grading..++

Hello, I have a copy of a GIA report for a ring I am looking at, but it doesn''t seem complete. I have only seen pictures of the ring but....would you trust this information or give an opinion if this is a good diamond. Symmetry is just "good". Does this mean the quality of the cut? Because I''m used to seeing the actual word "cut" with good, very good, or ideal etc in a report. The ring is selling for about $9000.00, wholesale price (they say 70% from the retail price) as they get much of their stuff from store close-outs, manufacture buyouts, bankruptcies etc. The ring is new. I can send pics to anyone who would like to see it. Also the table is thick 69% and depth is extremely thick 58.3 - which I''m thinking is not a good thing.

It is a fancy color stone, these stones are cut differently, to maximize color and not light performance. They are also priced differently.

The most important thing in colored stones is the quality of the color, not the cut. Don''t worry about the cut at all unless it looks like it was a stone cutter''s first job.

LOL! Well said! And yes the colour is everything with fancy colour stones. If the stone looks like the cutters first attempt as Julie says, then keep looking but otherwise if you like the diamond ( I assume it is a radiant?) then thats the main thing.
