Hi raf and welcome!

Thank you for your very kind words, we try to be helpful!!

With this diamond, it is cut a bit deep at 63% and it is facing up small for the weight, a well cut 1 carat round diamond should have the diameter of around 6.5mm, as you can see, this one is falling short. The table size is fine but the crown and pavilion angles are always a crucial factor when judging any diamond so if you can, it is always important to list those. Unless you particularly want to buy this diamond I would keep looking especially as it will look a bit small for the weight. It is possible the cutter had hitting the 1 carat target uppermost in his mind when cutting this stone, rather than cutting for beauty.

If you are brand new to this, you might find reading this link from the Pricescope Tutorial will be helpful, work through the topics on the left and if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks for the feedback- I''ll continue my search

Glad to help and don''t hesitate to ask if you need any help or if buying online, we could suggest some diamonds you might like if you give us an idea of budget.

Ok, lets take a look for you, I see some other RT regulars are online now so lets see what we can find. I take it you would be fine with SI clarity if verified eyeclean? Also0 dropping slightly under the 1 carat mark would give a similar look when set in a ring but would help the budget.

Here we go, you would need to check with the vendor that the diamond is eyeclean and also as it has grade setting clouds noted on the report, that these aren't negatively affecting performance.
