may i ask, would you be interested in an actually vintage stone?

Yes! But I just don't know where to look for vintage :S

This is a really good idea... something like this would be super cute: (and it's only $1650!!!)

You could always contact her and give her your budget -- she could look for you if you don't have a strict deadline for the ring.

This is seriously pretty! We will have to look closely to that option! I have never really considered it because I could not find a reputable place to buy from.

So many pretty shiny things!

Great! There are other vendors, but this is just what I found first... Niel is good at finding bargains, so I'm sure she'll be able to come up with several other options if you want to go vintage.

One other thing to consider is that OEC's tend to face up whiter than their color would indicate. There are many PS members that want their MRB's stark white, but prefer old cuts in the J-M range. So, you can get away with a K very easily... you may even find that you love an L! :D I love old cuts -- they have so much personality!

Old world diamonds is a reputable vendor with a lot of access to old stones. I'd contact them.

They not have lots of pics but if you email them they'll look in their inventory. I'd try and shoot for a k 6mm stone and see how close they get.

I'll look into that, thank you!

Oh I love that. This would be my choice!
