HELP!! elongated cushion cut or round halo setting?!

Hi everyone, I don't know if I'm in the right section but I've been a long time lurker and a first time poster
I know that I'll be getting a 1.5 carat size diamond, but I don't know if I should go with an elongated cushion or a brilliant cut in a very thin halo. I've been having a harder time looking for the right elongated cushion, and the reason why I'm so torn is because the brilliant cut is supposed to LOOK bigger then the cushion. I feel like I need to get the most bang for my buck and in my eyes bigger is always better
If I could get some feed back that'd be GREAT! Thanks!!!

I'm a total RB fan so that would be my choice.

If you want the best of both worlds go for a RB which will give you better size for money and put a cushion shaped halo around it. Rather than a round halo a slightly more cushion shaped halo with a RB in the centre is softer looking....
