Hey everyone-
Great forum. So much information.
I'm getting ready to propose to my significant other-- have a setting picked out already; solitaire antique replica crown.
Looking for a round 1.4-1.6 ct (setting can take up to 7.5mm).
I'm looking for:
Color: F-H
Clarity: VVS2-VS1-VS2 (VS 2 ok if the inclusions are peripheral and subtle)
Cut: Ideal
Found a nice stone with calculated HCA of 1.0 for around 13k.

What do you guys think about that stone? Reasonable price? Can I do better? There a lot of crystals on the diagram which worries me.
Any advice or suggestions on other websites to look at?
Have found a few diamonds between BlueNile and JamesAllen in the 12-13k range.
Planning on getting the diamond and then having the antique jeweler set it for me/size the ring.
